You smiled your golden smile
and comforted us
with your strength and presence.
You've given so much
to us in living
for "You? are the
meaning of good.
Your faith, your hope
and your love
are forever, and we would have kept
you here if we could.
But our good Lord has called
you home to Him,
and it's time to rest.
You were always there
when we needed you
no task too great or small,
with a loving heart
and a willing hand,
for us you did them all.
