Bernard Henry John Wolf was born May 8, 1924 in Westford Township, near Truman, Minnesota to Henry F. and Clara Schulz Wolf. He became a child of God through Holy Baptism on May 11, 1924 by the Rev. C. C. Metz. Bernard was confirmed April 10, 1938 at St. James Lutheran Church, East Rutland Township, by the Rev. Elmer Koberg. He received his education at St. James Lutheran Parochial School and was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church of Northrop. Bernard made his home on the family farm in Westford Township. On October 28, 2002, he became a resident at the Lutheran Manor in Truman and on September 12, 2003, became a resident of the Lutheran Retirement Home.
Bernard is survived by one brother, Robert Wolf and wife Roserita of Winona, MN; a niece, Marita Rose Wolf of Winona, MN and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mildred.
