Isabella Ardella Urban was born on December 13th, 1910 in Antrim Township, Watonwan County, MN, to Henry and Lizzie (Benzel) Urban. She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim, on January 15th, 1911. She attended parochial school at St. John's Lutheran School-Antrim. Isabella was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim, on April 5th, 1925. On April 28th, 1937, Isabella married Harold Wilhelm Breitbarth at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim. They farmed for forty years in Antrim Township. In 1977, they moved to Lewisville after retiring. Harold died in 1994 and Isabella moved into the Lutheran Retirement Home in 1995. Isabella was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and playing cards. While she was in the retirement home, she entered numerous pieces of needlework into the Martin County Fair where she was awarded many ribbons.
Isabella is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Ernie Karschnik of Forsyth, MO; two sons and daughters-in-law, Enos and Charlotte Breitbarth of Fairmont and Mel and Marlene Breitbarth of Truman; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son-in-law; one brother and 8 sisters.
