Roberta Rosen

Roberta "Bobby? Wagner was born on March 23, 1926 in Fairmont, MN to Robert and Anna Stinchfield Wagner. She grew up in Fairmont and attended Fairmont schools graduating in 1944. On April 2nd, 1949 Bobby married Ludvig Rosen at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Bobby began working at the Fairmont Telephone Company while still in high school. She continued to work for the telephone company after high school and became Chief Operator. She retired in 1973. Bobby earned her pilot's license on February 15th, 1964. She was active in the Humane Society and the Fairmont Hospital Auxiliary and served many years on the Fairmont Police Commission. Bobby was the main benefactor of the Rosen Family Foundation. Bobby is survived by one sister-in-law, Erma Rosen; three nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lud and one nephew. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Fairmont Hospital Hospice or the Martin County Humane Society.
