Funeral services for Cacelia M. Boesch, 90, Truman, MN will be held on with Rev. Matthew Rusert officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held .
Cacelia Marie Greiner was born on July 2, 1918 in Antrim Township, Watonwan County to Louis and Ida (Jablinske) Greiner. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim. Cacelia attended parochial school in rural Truman and graduated from Truman High School. On July 11, 1940 Cacelia was united in marriage to Luther Boesch at her parent's home. They lived and farmed in Pleasant Mound Township, Blue Earth County, MN. Cacelia moved into the Lutheran Manor in Truman in 2000. Luther died in 2002. Cacelia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim and the ladies aid and LWML. She was involved with the Truman Museum in her later years. Cacelia loved quilting, gardening and antiques. Cacelia died on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Truman Senior Living.
Cacelia is survived by on son, Terry Boesch and his wife Cindy of Truman; one daughter, Nadine Weineke and her husband Mark of Truman; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters-in-law, Maurine Burks of Medford, OR, Selma Greiner of Truman, Madge Boesch of Truman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther; one great grandson; one brother, Elmer Greiner.
