Glen W. Peterson

Glen Waldemor Peterson was born on April 30, 1922 in Waverly Township, Martin County, MN to Peter and Amanda (Revne) Peterson. Glen was baptized and confirmed at Waverly Lutheran Church, rural Martin County, MN. He attended country school dist. 54. He worked at the Lutheran Retirement Home. Glen enjoyed playing cards and games and loved family gatherings and never forgot a birthday. Glen was a member of Waverly Lutheran Church. Mr.Peterson died on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 surrounded by his family at the Truman Senior Living Center in Truman. Glen is survived by two sisters, Pearl Nelson of Peoria, IL and Marlys Pickett and her husband Diehl of Gwinn, MI; one sister-in-law, Lois Peterson of Fairmont, MN and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dean Peterson and one brother-in-law, Richard Nelson.
