Joan was born August 14, 1931 in Fairmont to Joseph and Edith (Drew) Landsteiner. She was a graduate of Fairmont High school. Joan suffered from polio from the age of 18 but had worked in her parent's café and Burtons café in Fairmont. Her marriage to Harold Genrich took place August 21 1948 in Fairmont. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church and the American Legion auxiliary in Fairmont. Joan enjoyed her grandchildren family and friends. And also giving gifts to others and embroidery. Mrs. Genrich is survived by her husband, Harold Daughters Nan Darnell of Northrop and Jeanette Haines of Fairmont 3 Grandchildren, Travis Darnell of Fairmont Shawn Haines of Albany, New York and Jesse (Alissa) Haines of Nobnoster, Missouri Great Grandchildren Alicia Darnell, Ethan Darnell and Collin Haines. Step Grandchildren Nathan Darnell and Jennifer (Jeff) Ignaszewski . Step Great Grandchild Amber Theobald.
