Bob Anton Boesch

Bobbie Anton Boesch was born on August 16, 1922 in Pleasant Mound Township, Blue Earth County, MN to Edward and Mathilda (Boelter) Boesch. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Truman and confirmed there on April 10, 1938. Bob attended School Dist. 100 in Blue Earth County and Truman High School. On September 9, 1945 Bob was united in marriage to Luella Vogt at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Truman. After their marriage, they farmed and lived in Pleasant Mound Township before moving to Amboy, MN where Bob operated Bob's Farm Equipment until retiring in 1988. Bob and Luella moved to the Lutheran Manor in Truman in 2007 and he moved into Truman Senior Living in January, 2009. Bob was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Truman. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles and airplanes. Bob died on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Truman Senior Living. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Luella, Truman, MN; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harland and Marsha Boesch, Truman, Lowell and Joyce Boesch, Amboy, MN; four grandchildren, Rachel (Steven) Malecka, New Prague, MN, Todd (Thea) Boesch, Lake Crystal, MN, Brittany (Daniel) Grunig, Avon, MN, Logan Boesch of Amboy, MN and special friend, Darby Hilgendorf , Trimont, MN; great grandchildren, Zachary Zernechel, Taylor Boesch, Kellen Grunig; one sister, Lavaria Wilde, Truman, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Luella Mohwinkel and Loretta Zastrow. In lieu of flowers, Bob's family requests memorials be given to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Restoration Fund.
