Paul Penkaty was born on December 27, 1953 in Cleveland, OH to Adrian and Lucille (Asbury) Penkaty. He attended school at Chardon High School in Chardon, OH. He entered the US Army and was medically discharged shortly after. On March 16, 1974 Paul was united in marriage to Beverly Scherick in Chardon, OH. Paul was a truck driver and worked at various plastic manufacturing companies. He lived in Truman and Lewisville for most of his adult life. He also lived in Mankato, Redwood Falls and Ringsted. Paul enjoyed fishing and camping and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. Paul died on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at his home in Ringsted, IA.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Tina Penkaty, Ringsted, IA, Kimberly Penkaty, Redwood Falls, MN; one son, Paul Penkaty, Jr., Redwood Falls, MN; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Andrea Smith, Mankato, Virginia Kass, Mankato and one brother, Dennis Penkaty, Janesville, MN and his dog, Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Dreyven Penkaty.
