Roma Jean Culbertson

Roma Jean Heine was born on April 17, 1934 in South Branch Township, Watonwan County, MN to Ernest and Reneatha (Tetzloff) Heine. She attended parochial school at St. John's Lutheran School-South Branch. On May 10, 1954, Roma was united in marriage to Robert L. Culbertson at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville. She worked at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia, the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman, ElectroCraft in Winnebago and at the Madelia Community Hospital. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville where she was active with the Altar Guild. Roma was also a member of the Lewisville Legion Auxiliary. Roma enjoyed cooking, camping and she loved spending time with her family. Roma died on Saturday morning, April 30, 2011 at her home in Lewisville. Roma is survived by three daughters, Sheila (Darcy) Drevlow of Truman, Lana Culbertson, Lewisville, Shaun (Daryl) Otte, Lewisville; 8 granddaughters; 7 great grandchildren and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Roma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert in 1988; 3 sisters, Marcella Heine, Delores Heckman, Francis Christnagle; 3 brothers, Maynard Heine, Elmer Heine and Herbert Rand.
