Arlo Manzke

December 19, 1942 — August 24, 2014

Arlo Manzke was born on December 9, 1942 in Fairmont, MN to Harold and Fern (Plath) Manzke. He attended country school until grade 4, Armstrong, Iowa Public School and was a graduate of Welcome High School in 1960. On February 10, 1964 Arlo was united in marriage to RoseAnne Keech in Sioux Falls, SD. They were blessed with three children; Bruce (Mary) of Sarasota, FL, Kendra Dobie (Daryl) of Fairmont, MN, Zeb (Laura) of Welcome, MN. Seven grandsons, two granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Arlo was employed at Fairmont Railway Motors for 33 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trap/sporting clays shooter. Arlo died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home in Truman. Arlo is survived by his twin sister, Ardis Schleininger (Leon), and sisters, Lois Martinez, Jane Thoren (Ralph) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was also survived by brothers-in-law, Jim Keech and Richard Keech (Elaine), sisters-in-law, Kathy Manzke, Darlyne Thormodson, Mardelle Nelson (Paul), and Delores Arduser (George). Arlo was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Duane, Jim and Marlin. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be given to: Truman Gun Club, East Chain Gun Club and United Hospital Dist. Home Health & Hospice, Blue Earth, MN.
