Funeral services for Dennis “Road Hog” Iverson, 54, will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Ceylon, MN with Rev. Russell Reimers officiating. Interment will follow at Tennhassen Cemetery, rural Ceylon. Dennis died on Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home in rural Ceylon. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 4-7:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman and one hour before the services in the church. Dennis Lyle Iverson was born on May 20, 1960 in Fairmont, MN to Lyle and Alice (Wilke) Iverson of Dolliver, IA. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. In 1964, Dennis moved with his family to Ceylon, MN. He was in Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop 164 in Ceylon. In 1978, Dennis graduated from Ceylon, MN. Dennis worked at Arts Way in Armstrong and AGCO in Jackson before returning to Arts Way. Road Hog loved riding his Harley. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved giving hay rides at his campground. Road Hog enjoyed the “Rebel Reunion” at Tuttle Lake in IA. He will be greatly missed by many. Dennis is survived by his mother, Alice Johnson of Fairmont, MN; his wife, Michelle Iverson, Swea City, IA; daughter, Savannah Iverson, Northrop, MN; son, Robert (Holly) Iverson, Fairmont, MN; step daughter, Destiny (Max) Rainville, Fairmont; step son, Skylar Meyer, Fairmont; friend, Renee Johnston, Jackson, MN; four grandchildren, Dayton, Brenan, Ashley, Ryder; one sister, Peggy (Kenny) Johnson, Princeton, MN; two brothers, Larry (Kelly) Iverson, Fairmont, David Iverson (special friend, Janet Diekman), Fairmont; sister-in-law, Kari Terry, Truman; step brother, Art (Bonnie) Anderson, Madison, IA; step sister-in-law, Joanne Anderson, Sanborn, IA. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Iverson; step father, Gordon Johnson and half-brother, Steve Anderson.
