Sybil Pearl Evans, 92, of Truman Minnesota, passed away August 31, 2015 at the Truman Senior Living Center.
Funeral service will be 2PM Thursday September 3, 2015 at the Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Horicon Cemetery.
Sybil Evans was born February 14, 1923 in Meeker County to Ivan and Nina (Reader) Greeley. She graduated Truman High School in 1941, attended the Minnesota Bible College in Minneapolis and Mankato Commercial College.
Sybil worked at the Farmers Elevator and Peoples State Bank. She also dedicated 23 years to Children’s Christian Homes.
She moved to Granada in 1991.
Sybil was active at the Horicon Church, she was a pianist and enjoyed quilting for missions. She was a forwarding agent for Lynn Stanley and missionaries in South Africa.
She is survived by her sister, Ellen Jane Friddle of Spirit Lake IA, and sister-in-law Carol Greeley of Loveland CO; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Sybil was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; two brothers; infant, Bernard Ivan Greeley and Doyle Greeley.
Memorials are preferred to Crossroads College.
