Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel Graif, 64, Fairmont, MN will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. Katherine’s Catholic Church, Truman with Father Timothy Hall, Celebrant. Inurnment will be at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, rural Truman. Daniel died of natural causes on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at his home in Fairmont. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Daniel John Graif was born on April 29, 1951 in Owatonna, MN to John and Delores (Bedney) Graif. He attended schools in Owatonna, Jackson, Fairmont and Truman. Daniel enjoyed traveling to the western United States including Arizona and Alaska. Arizona was his favorite place and he always hoped to return there. Daniel has a passion watching PBS-TV and to always be aware of the national news. The Minnesota Vikings were also a favorite to watch. Daniel loved family gatherings. Daniel is survived by his son, Ryan Graif; sisters, Brenda (Tom) Zehnder, Truman, MN, Renee (Bruce) Beenken, Tuscon, AZ, Cindra (Bruce) Fosse, Newman, GA, Sharon (Kevin) Berglund, Grand Marais, MN; brothers, Gregory (Cindy) Graif, Truman, MN, Patrick (Darcy) Graif, Fairmont, MN; 6 nieces, Laura Bidne, Nicole Lamkin, Liese Rothkopf, BreAnn Rumsch, Amber Fosse, Chloe Graif; and 4 nephews, Eric Zehnder, Robert Zehnder, Michael Beenken and Foster Graif.
