Funeral services for Harriet L. Breitbarth, 79, Truman, MN will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral Chapel. Harriet died on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Mayo Health Systems-St. James. Interment will take place on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 4-6:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Harriet Lucille VanMeveren was born on June 6, 1936 in Holland, MN to Harry and Sena VanMeveren. She married Jerome E. Breitbarth on October 20, 1954. Harriet is survived by two daughters, Marlene Mohwinkel, Truman, Kelly Marx, Winnebago; two sons, Donald, New Ulm, Douglas, Winnebago; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Mae Fritz, Pipestone, Linda Bultmann, Fulda; one brother, Vernon VanMeveren, Lakeview, IA.
