Funeral services for Loretta “Retzie” Mohwinkel, 91, Truman, MN will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church-Antrim, rural Truman, MN. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Loretta died on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Mayo Health Systems-Fairmont. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4-7:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman and one hour before the services in the church Friday. Loretta Mohwinkel was born on June 18, 1925 in Antrim Township, Watonwan County, MN to Frank and Helene (Buchholz) Vogt. She was baptized on June 29, 1925 and confirmed on April 2, 1939 both at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Truman. She attended St. Paul’s Parochial School in Truman. On September 15, 1946 Loretta was united in marriage to Delton Mohwinkel at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Retzie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church-Antrim where she belonged to the ladies aid. She was a former member of Antrim Extension. Her hobbies include volunteer work and she was a member of the 500 Marathon Club. Retzie is survived by two daughters, Glendoris Urban of Truman, Delrose (Wesley) Pegors of Hendricks, MN; one son, Cleon (Linda) Mohwinkel of Lewisville; seven grandchildren, Darcy (Douglas) Dahmus, Corby Urban, Patrick (Nicole) Urban, Angela (Grant) Behlen, Megan (Steve) Alberts, Rhett Mohwinkel, Matt Mohwinkel; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Luella Boesch, Truman and many nieces and nephews.
