Funeral services for Jacqueline “Jackie” Leimer, 90, Truman, MN will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Truman Senior Living. Interment will take place at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Truman. Jackie died on Wednesday, April 05, 2017 at Truman Senior Living. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5-7:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman and one hour before the services at Truman Senior Living. Jacqueline Evelyn Kolell was born on October 15, 1926 in Bancroft, Nebraska to Elmer and Valasta (Holub) Kolell. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bancroft, Nebraska. Jackie graduated from Bancroft High School. On March 5, 1944 Jackie was united in marriage to Edwin “Pete” Leimer. They lived in Bancroft, Nebraska and later moved to Truman. Jackie was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She loved gardening, playing games, canning, cleaning and having coffee parties. Jackie enjoyed having her family visit, especially her granddaughter, Desiree. Jackie is survived by one son, Larry (Jill) Leimer, Fort Meyers, FL; one granddaughter, Desiree Leimer, Hopkins, MN; one sister, Joan Doht, Bancroft, Nebraska and numerous nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete; brothers and sister, Wes, Shirley and Gary.
