Charles Donald Brownlee of Truman, passed away on December 24, 2017 at the age of 81. Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation in Truman with additional visitation one hour prior to the Memorial Service Saturday, December, 30, 2017 at 11 am at theTruman Church of Christ. Burial will take place later that day at Fairview Memorial Park, Fairmont. Charley was born December 20, 1936 in Truman, MN to Olga (Breitbarth) and Charles Brownlee. He was a Truman High School graduate and went on to serve in the US Air Force. He worked at 3M for 36 years and retired in 1996. He was a man full of life and enjoyed traveling, gardening, golf and backpacking. Charley generally loved being outdoors. He was a member of the Truman Church of Christ as well as the Lions Club. A legacy will be left behind, One that shows his love of God and family, especially his 18 nieces and nephews. Charley is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynn (Gratz) Brownlee; daughter, Tali Roberts, of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Ashley; greatgrandchildren, Aly and T.J.; mother in law, Bev Gratz and sister-in-law, Maryann Brownlee and numerous special nieces and nephews and friends.
